The Family Rock - Pokerny heartily welcome you to come and stay as our guest at our cosy Breakfast Pension, Haus Friedrichsburg that is ideally situated in the centre of the spa resort Bad Hofgastein. We offer you a compleete holiday experience with individualised service to ensure your stay here with us is both enjoyable and fulfilling.

Haus Friedrichsburg is the ideal starting point for the visitor to venture forth and experience what the Gasteinertal has to offer. It is only a few minutes walking distance to the Alpentherme ( welness centre ) and the Kur and Kongresshaus, where concerts, seminars and international forums are held . The base station of the Schlossalmbahn ( cog train ) is within 15 minutes per foot and only four minutes by car. Adequate car parking is available. During thw inter months the Langlauf ( cross - country skiing ) trails are easily in reach from our Pension. Additionally the skating rink and dthe ski bus stop is only 50 metres afield. Most impotantly the pedestrian lanewasy lined with small boutiques, cafes and eateries and the scenic town oark with duck ponds are all accessible once the guest steps out the front door. A delightful ambience while enjoying a leisurely stroll.

Anf of course in the summer and autumn months there are endless wandering trails traversing the pristine alpine meadow landscape with breathtaking views to enjoy.

After a lang adventure - laden day in the Gasteinertal the guest can return to the Haus Friedrichsburg and enjoy the amenities on offer. A peaceful garden, a guest lounge with TV, a coffee machine and well stocked drinks cabinet offers the guest a chance to unwind and just relax. 

All our rooms are with bath or bath/shower, complete with hairdryer, cable TV, small refrigerator as well as a safe. Enjoy the glorious mountain views from your own balcony.
